We are LIVE on Apple and Android Play Store!
No Sale of Data: Personal data received from users is never sold.
Ad Customization Limits: Third-party advertisements are not served or displayed based on any additional analytical information received from your use of the app. Ad placement follows an independent logic devoid of user analytics for targeting.
Basic Account Requirements: Setting up or reconfiguring an account requires basic identifiable information, such as an email address and a password. Phone numbers may be requested to enable features like SMS or to limit fraud and abuse.
Public vs. Private Content:
Public Data: Information provided to crowd-source the grocery product database—including product names, brands, ingredients, manufacturer details, photos, ratings, and reviews—is public by default and instantly disseminated to other users.
Private Data (Pantry): Household inventory, product usage data, grocery lists, search history, scanner captures, and expiration alarms are kept private. This information is restricted exclusively to you and the chosen members of your specific household "Pantry".
Location and Diagnostics: Approximate or precise GPS data may be utilized to offer localized features like automatic grocery store look-ups, but it is not persistently stored. Transient server logs and diagnostics data are tracked to scale server capacity and correct software crashes.
Derived Data Analytics: Your general location, product inventory, and grocery lists may be compiled into aggregate, anonymized "Derived Data". This data contains no personally identifiable details and can be used or sold as trend analytics to third parties and business affiliates.
Authorized Third-Party Disclosures: Private personal data is only shared with external entities under strict circumstances, such as fulfilling orders with sellers of goods, working with direct service providers (e.g., hosting platforms, Google Analytics), navigating a change of corporate ownership, or complying with lawful government requests and platform safety regulations.
User Control & Deactivation: Tools within the app settings allow you to opt out of sharing usage and diagnostic data. Account deletion can be requested via system deactivation, though copies of previously submitted public product data and photos may persist after your profile is removed.
Age Eligibility: The app's services are strictly not directed toward children, and individuals under the age of 16 are prohibited from registering an account.
